Today, 31-October-2014, was no special !

Its the first raining day of this season in town , proclaiming winter has arrived … everyone is nostalgic, everyone is dramatically romantic , the number of the “winterly-depressed” has impressively increased … Fairouze songs are everywhere , photos of smoke and coffee with poetic captions … Everything seems perfectly cliche ! But that’s what happen every winter , though winter comes every year ! people tend to fall in love more and break-up more because it’s such an emotional season … Well , that’s the kind of things a 6 years old boy standing at the door of his so called home ,who lives in a tent so called “shelter” his jacket is soaking , no his shelter so called home is soaking , these kind of things he didn't give a damn !

The news on some TV channels at some medium house proclaims, 804 billion die every year out of hunger ,he wouldn't give a damn .

The number of refugees around the world is over than 10.4 million.

In an Internet minute, 204 million emails are sent, six million Facebook pages are viewed and 1.3 million YouTube clips are downloaded. Why would he give a damn !

Starbucks announces they will start delivering coffee by 2015 ... but again, why would he give a damn !

 People change the news channel , turn off the TV . They will show sympathy to the poor, yet shop in an overrated mall. Show intellectuality, yet buy their books form some over-priced capitalist book shop. They post , comment and argue about hunger ,poverty  and World Food Program in sophistication, yet they eat out in a restaurant they cannot afford and order amounts they cannot eat then throw away the left overs .

It is 2014 .Still he was enforced into a war he has no clue about . He was displaced . He was taken out of his school. He was humiliated in every possible inhumane way ... He is different now .He is scared. 

He stands , his jackets soaked .He stares .He gives the world a cold stare .He lives in hypocrite world.

So much for a 6 years old boy , who will be forgotten as fast as the click on a remote control to change the news channel , because they wanted to enjoy the romantic rain and forget bout those who suffer under the rain .

Today, 31-October -2014 , was a special day ,for this boy . He , It’s his first time to see the rainbow , to see the rain ... in his so called “new” home !
